Renegade, the new album from acclaimed musician Dylan LeBlanc was produced by Grammy award winning producer Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton). The 10-song album was recorded at Cobb's RCA Studio A in Nashville. LeBlanc shares, "I wanted to write the same type of songs that matched the atmosphere the band and I were bringing live. I started with `Renegade,' which was fitting since I felt myself going in a new, more intense direction."

This is my second CD purchase of original music by Dylan LeBlanc. 'Cautionary Tale' continues to be one of my favorite 'go to' collections of music to listen to. 'Renegade' is a departure from the style utilized on CT however, Renegade is musically strong and enjoyable. Dylan is an superb song writer/lyricist. His voice is unique, almost haunting often sounding like he is singing directly to you in a personal and intimate manner. I'm gonna try some of his earlier CDs as well. Two songs that really stuck with me are 'Sand and Stone' and 'Lone Rider' which he wrote with his equally talented dad.

This is the 3rd CD that I have purchased by Dylan Leblanc and they just keep getting better and the music just gets stronger. I really like the new more rockin sound debuted on this CD because it is so close to much of his live show. Buy the CD, go see him live - you'll be glad you did.
