The planet is in trouble. Dire trouble. But fear not: Melbourne seven-piece King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard return to save us all, this time armed only with blast beats, an arsenal of well-oiled guitars that are locked and loaded, and a desire to melt faces clean off.
Their fifteenth studio album, Infest The Rats’ Nest is by far The Gizz’s hardest and heaviest album to date. How metal is it? Very Metal. Maybe even more.

Fantastic album, like everything else King Gizzard puts out. My only complaint is the record packaging itself and sleeve were damaged when it arrived :(

The album looks and sounds great. King Gizzard are simply a once in a generation group and this album is just another reminder. Excellent!

I love this band and how they love to experiment. The first album I ever bought of theirs was the Flying Microtonal Banana album which was instant 5 star album. This new album brings us a little closer to the following album, Murder of the Universe. It is very good, but maybe a little thrashier than I was expecting. More listenings are definitely required. My picture disc did not come with any liner notes, lyrics or poster. I was also disappointed that there was no download card.

Absolutely amazing album from one of the most creative bands out right now. If you are a metal or sci-fi fan this album is for you through and through. This is a distinct deviation from the sound explored in there most recent boogie-woogie album, “Fishing for Fishes”. This album is packed to the brim with head banging riffs, nightmarish lyrics and interesting sounds that will keep you coming for more. Top tracks: Mars for the Rich Superbug Venusian 1 Perihelion Hell

Wonderful poster. Lyrics on insert. And LP sounds great! As expected, the band sounds tighter than ever, and with pertinent lyrics, this album is indeed heavy as hell.
